NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! There are no height or weight requirements. All ethnicities welcome! We are looking for outgoing women, who are beautiful on the inside and out, who can represent Hawaii using their title to make a difference. Our organization provides a unique opportunity for Hawaii's women to meet peers with similar goals and ambitions to form a support system that empowers them to succeed. Our program is designed to be an excellent vehicle for advancing your career and personal goals, our contestants receive guidance on public speaking, community service, personal appearance and physical fitness to name a few. In addition, the winners and top finalists, will receive thousands in prizes, awards and scholarships. We look forward to getting to know you!

Our 2025 pageant will be held Summer 2025 in Honolulu and may prove to be one of the most exciting weekends of your life!

Phases of Competion
​
The Miss Hawaii Competition is composed of five phases:

Private Interview with the Selection Panel | 30%
-
Onstage Conversation | 10%
-
Performing Arts Talent/HERStory | 20%
-
Evening Gown | 20%
-
Health and Fitness | 20%
Each contestant must have a Community Service Initiative (CSI) that she will advocate during her time of service.

Eligibility Requirements
​
​
AGE
-
14-18 – must be 14 by state competition and no older than 18 at state competition.*
-
*Miss America allows for 18-year-old contestants to have a ‘pivot’ year to decide whether they would like to compete in the Teen or Miss divisions. Once you select your age division, you may not change divisions.

*A TEEN must not be more than 18 years old at the FIRST DAY of the State competition and must be at least 14 years of age. To clarify, the date of determining this age criterion remains the first day of the published State competition schedule.

*Additionally, once an 18-year-old decides on the division she may compete in, she may not change divisions until the next cycle.
RESIDENCY - SCHOOL ATTENDANCE - EMPLOYMENT
Must fulfill ONE of the following:

Must reside in the boundary of the local competition

Be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university within the boundary of the local competition

Be employed on a full-time basis within the boundary of the local competition
-
Meet the criteria/regulations for a festival competition

Boundaries for local competitions vary. Competitions described as "open statewide" are available to any eligible candidate in the state of Hawaii.
CITIZENSHIP

Must be a citizen of the United States of America

To become a Miss Hawaii delegate, you may enter and win a local competition, or you may enter Miss Hawaii directly as an At-Large contestant. Click the "Apply Today" button below to start your journey to the crown. Be sure to select "At-Large" from the Name of Local Competition- Hawaii drop down menu on the Registration Form.
